Prayer

“Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer” (Psalm 61:1)

UPDATE: The Discipleship Class has heard from the Gendrons. Kathy is still in the hospital, but is improving slowly. They are in an excellent private facility and getting good care for her. The cruise line port agent has been very helpful to them, and they are getting daily calls from the State Department. Language is still an issue. They received a FaceTime call from Pedro Gismondi which greatly encouraged them. Though the situation is difficult, they know that their lives are in God's hands, and this truth gives them comfort. Please pray that Kathy will improve quickly so that they might return to Oklahoma.

Pray for Richard and Kathy Gendron. They have been on a cruise. Kathy became ill with a severe septic infection, and is currently in the hospital. They suspect there may be some cardiac involvement. This is a very scary and stressful situation being in a foreign country, far from family and friends. They have been in contact with an agent from the cruise company as well as the U.S. Counsel. Pray that they will be able to get her safely home to Oklahoma. Pray God's comfort for both of them.
