Nominating Committee Needs Recommendations
Published November 08, 2019
"So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith." - Galatians 6:10

*Update: Recommendations are due November 24.

Every year we are called to prayerfully consider who might faithfully serve Metropolitan in the various elected leadership positions. Before our church body formally elects leaders during our March 2020 annual business meeting, we are asked to suggest who we think meet the requirements of those positions.

This is a great opportunity to serve as God leads us into a new chapter at Metropolitan.

This year’s nominating committee is collecting names from the congregation for Elder, Deacon, and other leadership positions, as per our church constitution. Please pray about who you think should be nominated and let one of the following committee members know your recommendation:

  • David Murray
  • Bob Thompson
  • Jordan Bradford
  • Cecil Nichols
  • Amanda Martin
  • Heather Hughes
  • Dan Bixler

A committee member will be in the Sunday School classes November 10 and 17 to answer questions and receive names for nomination.

This is a great opportunity to serve as God leads us into a new chapter at Metropolitan.
